However, an Internet connection is required to perform many key functions:
Karaoke system activation
Without initial activation via the internet, the system will operate in demo mode, limiting each song to 45 seconds of playback.
Purchasing songs (including new releases)
Replenishing your balance and purchasing new songs from the full Studio Evolution catalog is only possible with an internet connection.
Software updates
Downloading the latest firmware versions to get new features (such as the VocalCH effect) requires network access.
Additional features
The Internet is also needed to share recordings of your performances on messengers and social networks using the EvoNet app.
